Author Guidelines

1. The manuscript should be original of good quality in content. It must not have been published or under consideration for publication in another journal.

2. It should be written in the English language with good grammatical structure.

3. Manuscripts should be written in plain text and conformity with the IJID's standard template for manuscript formatting guidelines available for download on our website.

4. The author's name (s) and affiliation(s) should appear on the manuscript's first page, and the corresponding author's email address should be indicated.

5. The main body of the manuscript should contain the following: Abstract, Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Recommendations, and References.

6. Charts, diagrams, figures, pictures, and tables should be kept to a minimum and be numbered serially with a brief title above (for tables) and below (for charts, diagrams, figures, and pictures).

7. The length of the paper should not exceed 15 pages (including references). Thus, exceeding that will attract an extra charge of NGN2,500 per page. (USD2).

8. Author(s) must conform to the 7th edition of APA referencing style in in-text citation and reference list.

9. It should also be noted that manuscripts are subjected to plagiarism check, and only papers with a similarity index of not more than 20% would be considered for acceptance.

10. Submitted manuscripts are being sent for a double-blind review upon payment of the prescribed assessment fee.

11. Upon acceptance of a manuscript for publication, author(s) are mandated to pay a publication fee as stated in the Author's Fees section on our website.

12. Author(s) should note that the final decision regarding acceptance or rejection is based on the reviewer's comments and the sole discretion of the IJID Editorial Board.
